Bhadra (July-August). The Kajli Teej starts on the third day of the month and felt for two days. The Kajli Teej festival is very famous festival in Rajasthan that should not be missed if you are visiting Rajastahn in the month of July to August. Although the main function lasts for two days, the celebrations can go till Janmashtami (birth of Lord Krishna). Women get specially dressed up in colorful apparels and offers prayers to Teej Mata. On the event of Kajli Teej, massive crowd gathers on the stipulated venue.

In this occasion, a beautifully decorated idol of Goddess Teej is paraded around in a grand palanquin. In this parade you find decorated elephants, camels, dancers and musicians all singing and dancing and enjoying this celebration. The parade passes through all main centers of the city and thousands of colorfully dressed people follow this procession.

Many cultural events are also organized in which people from all over Rajasthan participate. Various people show their talents and for that they start do a lot of practice before the months of this precious day. Not People but small kids also dancing and singing gracefully and enjoying life in this parade. Many vistors who visit Rajasthan in this festival join this parade and enjoy and see the performance of local artists as well as the citizen of Rajasthan.
